VK3GWY digital gateway still missing.

I still looking around to see if anyone talking about why the VK3GWY gateway disappeared which tied BrandMeister DMR TG 50525 with P25 TG50525 and NXDN TG50525 and YSF 06015

while looking around I stumbled onto the VK3RBA 70cm digital repeater dashboard connected to Brandmeister DMR Network, from the dashboard we see BM TG505 TS1 and a local TG9 TS2, I will keep this in mind for the next time I visit Ballarat.

What I noticed from this dashboard is P25 and YSF showing as Not Linked.

VK3GWY disappeared

the VK3GWY gateway seems to have disappeared, I haven't heard the VK3 network activity on Brandmeister DMR, P25, NXDN and YSF networks, not hearing the daily and weekly nets held on the VK3 network.
I noticed it disappeared off the various dashboards and checking Brandmeister dashboard it looks to be 26 days ago, so that is around the 14th September.

another DMR network

I discovered there is another DMR network out there,  this one called FreeDMR, looks to be based out of the UK. It has talkgroups for Australia 505 and 5050  and for New Zealand  it has TG530. It is aimed at opensource development and experimentation.

Covid-19 Isolation radio net

over the past 8 or so weeks, while working from home, I been listening to the Isolation Net  which is operated by Simon VK3XEM in Ballarat, via the VK3 AllStar network. The AllStar network is network of FM voice repeaters across VK3 and up to Albury, includes IRLP and Echolink nodes and a Gateway onto digital modes, so I have been accessing that network listening to the net each morning via Brandmeister DMR TG 50525 which ports to the VK3GWY Digital gateway.

The net is just to allow hams to keep in touch with each other during the Covid-19 pandemic,  and Simon calls for checkins for all on the net which is held from 10am AEST Mon-Fri. I haven't checked-in myself, but nice to listen in whilst I working from home and hear from many on the net, mostly country and regional stations, but there are stations that drop in from overseas and interstate and they are all welcomed by Simon VK3XEM.

I been impressed by the VK3 AllStar network, during the rest of the day I can hear the locals (mostly country VK3) going about their business on the network which comes through to Brandmeister DMR TG50525.
Note: if you should access the VK3GWY Digital gateway via a digital mode (P25,NXDN,YSF,DMR)  remember to leave 3-4 seconds between overs to allow the digital and analogue repeaters to drop after each over.

Follow the link below for the network map.
